Partial Outsourcing

Whether you need to augment your team's resources on a project basis or a limited time basis, Intelesys employs a variety of skill level engineers that can provide services from temporary assistance to full project management.  Our engagements include filling needs due to hiring shortages, unexpected work volume, and/or completing a special project such as Office 365 migration or data redundancy design.

Project Approach

Intelesys is continually recognized when working with local municipalities because we understand that the products are only a piece of the solution.  It is equally critical that your partner understands how to best design and implement that product so that it provides you with the greatest benefit, customized specifically to your needs.

Through our many municipal implementations, Intelesys has developed our White Glove Implementation Process, comprised of 6 phases that ensure the end result surpasses your expectations, reflects positively on your team, and is something you can be proud of.  Directed by your dedicated Intelesys Project Team consisting of your Project Manager, Account Manager, and Senior Engineer, you’ll see why this process is what we’ve become known for.

Phase 1:  Discovery

Our goal is to learn as much as we can about the operations so that the solution we deliver truly meets your needs.  Our team works with you to personally interview the departments and groups within your city to identify how we can customize the solution to work best for each.  The information we gather is well-documented and used throughout the process as a benchmark to ensure we are aligned with your goals.

Phase 2:  Design

In this phase, we utilize all the information our team has gathered to perfect the design.  Here, we tailor your solution from the ground up to ensure that it provides the best experience for all parties.  We design the system to be intuitive so users are quick to adopt features and there is a feeling of “this just makes sense.”

  • From the start, we take a 2-focus approach to design:
    • What is required right now to meet the needs?
    • What is the future direction, so that we can plan to accommodate change?
  • Our understanding of municipal clients means that everything in the design is intentional.  We know from experience that it’s the small things that can have the greatest impact in how users perceive the system.  We leave nothing in the design to chance.
  • Prior to initiating any programming, your Project Team will review the design with you for your approval.  We want you to always be in the loop with what’s going to happen before it happens.
  • Intelesys implements best-practices early on in the design phase that make it easy to accommodate future growth.
  • Technology alignment considers needs at any given time, allowing you to control costs and resource allocation.

Phase 3:  Programming

Programming begins from square one so that we have full end-to-end control of how your solution is built.  As our engineers tune the design, we know exactly what is going on at all times.

  • Your new system is tested and benchmarked in our secure lab environment before it is delivered and installed into your network.
  • Our certified engineers work as a team to deliver the best practice designs for optimal system performance.
  • Our team reviews all impact on third party systems to plan for smooth transitions.

Phase 4:  Conversion

This phase is the most visible to the majority of your staff, and we take great care to ensure that we leave a lasting positive impression!  Understanding that minimal disruption is priority, we schedule all installation to occur a t the least impactful time.

  • Our Client Education Team is a key part of what makes Intelesys one of the highest-rated partners around.  We work with your team to design the best plan for training each and every person who will be using the new system.
    • End-User Training Sessions:  Our trainers will work with your staff to leverage the technology and be comfortable with its ongoing maintenance and operation.
    • Ongoing Resources:  We provide support and documentation that is accessible to your staff as needed.
  • GO-LIVE!  As we bring the solution online, we have a team dedicated to you during and after to ensure a seamless transition.
    • During the conversion, we maintain a punch-list of any modifications that are requested so that we can work with you to prioritize how they are addressed.

Phase 5:  Wrap-Up

We make sure that we finish as strong as we begin, leaving no loose ends unaddressed.  We’re not satisfied until everything is buttoned up.

  • Comprehensive Administrator Training:  This is your system, and we want you to be confident managing it.  Your administrators will receive customized training led by an engineer who understands what it’s like to be in your shoes.
  • Any outstanding items on the punch-list we’ve created are addressed in full.
  • Your Intelesys Project Management Team sits with you for Post-Install Meeting to review the success of the implementation.

Phase 6:  Transition to Support

As a municipality you’re a VIP client to Intelesys.  We want to properly introduce you to the level of service you will continue to receive long after your deployment is complete.

  • Our Service Manager will personally meet with your team to formally transition you to support.
  • Internally, we conduct a meeting with our entire Service Team to familiarize them with your account and how we’ve designed the solution to meet your needs.  Most importantly, we want our team to understand all we will have learned about how your city operates so we can provide a unique level of service that continues to surpass your expectations.
  • As security updates and new features are released, our team will test and analyze them against their impact on your specific environment.  We will let you know what benefit each update brings and then schedule a time, install them (and test – again) for you!

At Intelesys we design solutions that meet needs for our clients.  We will never recommend or sell a product or service until you understand why it will benefit your city.  That is our commitment to you.
